Handbuilding Evening course
This course is open to beginners and those with experience of ceramics. Beginners will be taught the basic handbuilding (pinch-forming,coiling, slabbing) and glazing techniques through set mini-projects.
Those who are already experienced are welcome to 'do your own thing,' with or without help. Class time can also be used for throwing on the potters wheel for those with experience although it is not taught as part of the course (book onto a wheel taster sessions to learn how to throw )
Please bring your own apron. The course includes all materials and firing for up to 3kg of finished work. Any extra work will be charged at £3 per kg. Fired work will be available to collect the following term, during class times. Any work which has not been collected by the end of the following term will be disposed of.
Please make sure you can attend all the sessions as there isn't space to make up missed sessions.
The course is for adults aged: 16 + and no experience necessary, and group sizes are limited to 8.
Location and access
7 Spot Pottery, Islington Mill, 1 James Street, Salford, M35HW.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts. The building is normally locked, so please call Pascal when you arrive on 07570415909 for access to the studio.
Unfortunately there is currently no wheelchair access to the studio, the only access is via stairs.

A full refund can only be given within 14 days from your booking date. This will incur a £5 admin fee.
You can reschedule your course if I am given at least 7 days notice from the start date.
Unfortunately I can't change the booking if less than 7 days notice is given. You are welcome to give your place to a friend provided that you let me know who is replacing you.
