Terms & Conditions

In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to classes it is not possible to provide alternative studio time, or for a class to be rescheduled. Classes are at fixed times to cover the cost of tuition. We run at full capacity so it is not possible to swap classes or use the studio outside of the allotted class times to ‘catch up’.

Refunds will only be issued up to 14 days before your course starts. After this period, if you cannot make the class your course fee will be retained as we will be unable to fill your space. You are able to transfer your booking to another person, as long as they do not show signs of illness.

COVID19: If you or another member of your household is required to self isolate meaning that you cannot attend a scheduled class, you will be able to hold the value of the missed class and rearrange a catch up class for another time once your self isolation has finished.

Clay / glaze / firing costs:

Taster sessions: extra pots made in these sessions can be white-glaze fired at a cost of £3 per small pot, £5 per medium pot, £8 per large pot.

Private sessions / hires: Unless stated otherwise materials and firing costs are included in the cost of hire. We fire between 2-4 pieces per person which will be ready to collect from the studio approximately 3-4 weeks after the session.

Collecting work:

Finished work can be collected on Sundays 11-2pm.

You will receive an email informing you when the work is ready for collection (generally 3 weeks after a one-off session and 2 weeks after the final class on a 4 week course).

From the date of this email you will have 1 calendar month to collect your work. After this time your work will be disposed of.

We cannot guarantee that work won’t be damaged in the kiln or not survive a firing.

Any work damaged during the firing process is not the responsibility of 7 Spot Pottery and any work remaining in the studio after the above cut off times will be disposed of as we see fit.
