Marbled Porcelain Jewellery Workshop // 23rd June // 10.30-13.00
In this workshop, you will learn how to marble and create nerikomi designs in porcelain, and learn a variety of techniques for jewellery making including designing, creating slabs to work with, and bead-making.
Our tutor Eva will take you step-by-step through manipulating and cutting clay into intricately detailed slabs and blocks, which you can use to create pendants, brooches, and cabochons for earrings and rings.
Nerikomi is a traditional japanese technique, also known as neriage or in the UK known as agateware, and is a method used for making intricate designs in clay. It can be used for many different handbuilding methods, but is also amazing to use to create jewellery!
Your items will be fired by us and will be able to be collected from the studio 3-4 weeks after the end of the workshops.
